Scholastic Art & Writing Awards
The Springs Preserve partners with The Alliance for Young Artists and Writers to host the annual Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Southern Nevada Regional Competition.
Visit our Big Springs Gallery to explore the best artwork from local students (grades 7 to 12) in a variety of formats, from photography to painting and jewelry to digital design. See the Gold Key winners from the region before they are submitted for the national awards competition!
Founded in 1923, the awards are the oldest, longest running and most prestigious recognition program for student achievement in the visual arts and creative writing in the United States. For additional information about the contest, visit www.artandwriting.org.
