LAS VEGAS (April 24) - Bring the kids-and your inner kid-for sweet creamy treats by the scoopful as the Springs Preserve hosts its annual Ice Cream Festival, Saturday, May 12, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cool off with your favorite flavors and toppings at stations serving up cones, sundaes, ice cream novelties and root beer floats. There also will be entertainment for the little ones, including airbrush tattoos, carnival games, souvenir photos and a bubble play station.

Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 5 to 12. Children four and younger are admitted free. Advance tickets are $6.50 for adults and $3.50 for kids when purchased at www.springspreserve.org or at the Springs Preserve box office. Springs Preserve members receive half off admission. Regular admission prices will apply for access to museums and galleries.
