How do I schedule a tour or field trip?
Call (702) 822-7744 to speak with one of our representatives about available dates. Please view the School Tours page for more information.

How many students can you accommodate?
Tours are designed for a maximum of 70 students.

How many teachers/chaperones should we bring?
There should be one teacher/chaperone for every five students on the tour.

Where and when do we meet for our field trip?
Upon arrival, tour groups will be met at the Orientation Plaza at the entrance of the Springs Preserve.

How long are the tours?
Tours are designed to last two hours.

Do the tours meet state standards?
All tours are aligned with Nevada State Standards. Please view the School Tours page for more information and suggested activities.

Is the Springs Preserve handicapped accessible?
All facilities are designed in compliance with ADA standards.

What should the students wear?
Wear comfortable walking shoes and plenty of sun protection as some of every tour will be outdoors.

Will we be outside or inside?
The tour for grades 6 through 8 for the water theme is outside. All other tours will be a combination of inside and out.

Is there a place to eat lunch?
Yes, you may eat in the amphitheatre that seats 200 people, located behind the Design Lab.

What if I want to do a self-guided tour with my class?
In order to conduct a self-guided tour, you must complete the "Teach the Teacher" workshop. For more information, please call Springs Preserve Education at (702) 822-7744.
