A deciduous small tree, the Chitalpa is a cross between the Desert Willow and the Catalpa. It produces showy pink, lavender or white Orchid-like flowers from spring through fall. The leaves are larger than the Desert Willow and give the tree a tropical appearance. The Chitalpa is a moderate water user that does well in full sun.
