Long before Anglo-Europeans "discovered" the Las Vegas Springs, Native Americans lived here. Take an archaeological journey into the past, analyzing historical structures—remnants of the people who survived at the springs.

The Springs Trail takes you on a journey of other springs inhabitants from ranchers to the railroad staff, who kept an eye on water operations in the early 20th Century.

Explore how early inhabitants kept cool in the desert without air conditioning and how the railroad affected the development of Las Vegas.
