Program Endowments

The Springs Preserve depends on support from willing partners to ensure we provide a unique and meaningful experience that promotes an ethic of environmental responsibility and appreciation for cultural and natural resources. Your sponsorship dollars will help us form a strong alliance, and an actionable commitment, to preservation of the past and protection of our future. There are several areas that need your sponsorship support, including:

Youth Education: Youth programming at the Springs Preserve combines information and instruction with hands-on activity to create a fun and stimulating learning environment, working closely with school districts and community organizations to develop and sustain curriculum through School Tours, Teacher Training and the Nature Exchange.

Sustainable Living: The Preserve offers a unique forum where visitors can learn practical means of protecting valuable environmental resources without compromising their quality of life. Your sponsorship will support sustainable living education and programs including the Resource Library and Sustainable Living classes.

Garden Programs: The lush, water-efficient Springs Preserve Gardens meander over eight acres and include recreated wetlands, two outdoor teaching theaters, an outdoor demonstration kitchen, enabling gardens and much more. Your sponsorship will support the gardens and conservation programming, including garden maintenance, garden and landscape education and our expert Dr. Greenthumb staff.

Research and Preservation: At the Preserve, archaeologists, biologists, botanists and others work together to protect and manage its many rare historical and natural wonders. Your sponsorship will support research and preservation efforts, including archaeological and biological exploration, landscape restoration, and culture and history education.

Arts and Culture: The Preserve's galleries showcase art that celebrates our region's rich history, art that tells stories about the world around us, art that calls us to action and helps bring our vision of environmental stewardship to life. Your sponsorship will support arts and culture activities, including exhibits in the Big Springs Gallery and the Big Springs Theater film series.

Program sponsorship benefits include:

  • Print and electronic media recognition
  • Distinguished onsite recognition
  • Complimentary booth space at events
  • Complimentary meeting space

Sponsorship Opportunities

Endowment ($2.5 million minimum): An endowment is the best way to support consistent, long-term funding for Springs Preserve programs. By starting an endowment, sponsors see their gifts invested and spent wisely in areas that mean the most to them. Endowment gifts are held in a permanent fund with the goal of providing a steady stream of reliable revenue for the Springs Preserve.

Annual Sponsorship ($100,000 minimum): An annual sponsorship is a one-year commitment to provide support for a key Springs Preserve program area. These sponsorships are valuable as they support continued program funding on an annual basis.

Individual Sponsorship ($25,000 minimum): An individual sponsorship is a commitment to provide support for a specific activity within a key Springs Preserve program area for one year. These sponsorships provide an opportunity for individual activities to mature and develop.

To speak with someone about establishing a program endowment, or to discuss other ways to support the Springs Preserve, please contact our Fund Development Office at (702) 258-7112 or fill out an online interest form.
