We're celebrating the contributions of African-Americans to our community with music, food and dance at our annual Black History Month Festival.
Enjoy live music and dance performances, soul food from local restaurants, cultural art and gift items, a historic Black Las Vegas photo exhibit, activities for the kids including arts and crafts, carnival games and face-painting, and more!
Did you know 70% of African-Americans have type O or B blood—the blood types most in demand? Springs Preserve and the American Red Cross will host a blood drive during this year’s festival, from 10:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. in the Partnership Office. To scheduled your appointment or for more information, please log on to redcrossblood.org and enter the sponsor code SPRINGSPRESERVE or call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767). Please note: This blood drive is not accessible without an entry ticket for the Black History Month Festival.
